The RAM Heavy Duty lineup has some pretty impressive muscle, that's not disputed. Now, the automotive version of The Mountain That Rides is getting ready to crush the competition like the skull of a certain unlucky Dornishman for the 2016 model year. How, you ask? Even more muscle.
Most of that fresh grunt is being applied to a legendary component of the heavy duty lineup: the 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel. This engine is one of the main reasons that RAM has led the power numbers in its segment for so long. The 2016 jump, which will include 900 lb-ft of torque and a bolstered max-tow rating of 31,210 lbs will position it at the top of its class.
